-
composition
100% European linen (France, Belgique and Netherlands). A natural and ecological material, needing little water and no pesticide!
-
lieu de production
This table cloth is weaved and finished in France.
Buying a Charvet product also guarantees that all production steps, from flax to finishing touches are made in Europe.
Indeed, it's important to highlight, as if linen mainly grows in Europe, 90% of its cultivation is sent to China to be spinned, weaved and assembled. -

fin de vie
Like other natural textile fibers, cotton is easily recycled when it's not mixed with other materials.

Qui se cache derrière ce produit?
For over a century, Charvet's workshops are thriving in Armentières. This city in northern France is renowned since middle ages as a production place for the most beautiful linen and cotton fabrics. At this time, Charvet was specialised in fabric for sheets, working clothed and outside fabric in cotton. It's later that the company diversified thanks linen weaving, flax of choice in the Flandres, where cultivation abounds.
Charvet becomes and remains the main French manufacturer for industrial fabric in natural material (work overalls, tarps, dish towels, pea jackets...).
This savoir-faire allowed Charvet to create an offer entirely dedicated to home and decoration. Products 100% weaved and finished in France in their workshops.
